Cemetery Tariff
After a review of cemetery charges several years ago Tavistock Town Council discovered that our cemetery charges were substantially lower than that of other cemeteries in the area. The council decided that instead of a large one off increase, to bring them in line with other authorities, a gradual increase of 5% each year would be a better option.
Plymouth Road Cemetery charges still remain lower than those in the surrounding area for example:

Tavistock £120 £325 - 100 years
Plymouth £802 £2055 – 100 years
Exeter £540 £1680 – 50 years
Mid Devon £594 £1577 – 75 years
