In the absence of the Chairman, the Minutes of the Meetings of the Committee held on the 6 November 2007 and the 20 November 2007 were signed by the Vice Chairman as true records.

There were no such matters.
411. ON-STREET PARKING ISSUES - WITH REFERENCE TO SITES OF NEW BUILD
There was nothing further to report at this time.
412. GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE
a) Ref: P/A No. 10984/2007/Tav - for erection of 12 flats at land adjacent to 3 Barley Market Street, Tavistock. Withdrawal of this application was NOTED.
b) Ref: P/A No. 10738/2007/Tav - for mixed use development comprising A1 food store including coffee shop, petrol station, 16 business units, car parking servicing landscape provision and recycling facilities at land adjacent to Brook Farm, Plymouth Road, Tavistock. Withdrawal of this application was NOTED.
c) West Devon Local Development Framework - Core Strategy, further consultation. Dates for Tavistock planned as Thursday 14 February 2008 and Saturday 1 March 2008 (notification circulated to all Councillors) - NOTED.
d) i. Ref: P/A 10221/2007/Tav for erection of a dwelling on land adjacent to the Workshop, Garden Lane, Tavistock - Hearing of appeal to be in Tavistock Town Council's Council Chamber, at 10 a.m. on 12 February 2008 - NOTED.
ii. Ref: P/A Nos. 9462/2007/Tav, 9774/2007/Tav & 9795/2007/Tav for developments at Higher Wilminstone Farm, Tavistock - Hearing of appeal to be in the Council Offices, W.D.B.C. on 30 January 2008 - NOTED.
e) Ref: P/A No 11144/2007/Tav for demolition of existing building and erection of five apartments at Magnolia, Down Road, Tavistock - Letter of objection NOTED.
f) Ref: P/A No. 11137/2007/Tav for a two storey extension at 12 The Dell, Tavistock - a letter of objection was read. The application had received the Committee's support at the last Plans Meeting and it was agreed that the letter be forwarded to W.D.B.C. as the local planning authority, with a letter of explanation to the objector.
413. URGENT BUSINESS BROUGHT FORWARD AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CHAIRMAN
In the absence of the Chairman, the Deputy Town Clerk referred to the West Devon Local Development Framework 'Site Allocations, Issues and Options' document and said that a further consultation period had been advised. The dates for consultation in Tavistock were Thursday 14 February 2008 and Saturday 1 March 2008. The Council had already requested that the Plans Committee makes a further scrutiny of the options and the relevant documents were tabled. This item to be put on the agenda for the meeting on Tuesday 18 December 2007.
