Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANS COMMITTEE of Tavistock Town Council held in the Council Chamber, Drake Road, Tavistock on TUESDAY the 5th FEBRUARY, 2008 at 6.00pm

Apologies for absence were received from Cllr. D. Best.

514. MINUTES
Minutes of the Meetings of the Committee held on the 8 January 2008 and the 22 January 2008 were signed as true records.

515. MATTERS ARISING
There were no matters arising.

516. DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK
There were no such matters.

517. ON-STREET PARKING ISSUES - WITH REFERENCE TO SITES OF NEW BUILD
 There was nothing further to report at this time.

518. GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE
a) Jane Hart, Chief Planning Officer, W.D.B.C. will attend our Plans Meeting on Tuesday 19 February - Noted.
b) West Devon's Local Development Framework - Core Strategy.                    A 'Further Consultation Report' has been received for consideration. - Cllr. Harper would review this document and bring to the meeting of the Task and Finish Group set for 3 p.m. on Thursday 14 February in the Council Chamber.

 519. URGENT BUSINESS BROUGHT FORWARD AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CHAIRMAN
The Chairman reminded members of the opportunity for questions to be put to Ms.Jane Hart at the next meeting. The Mayor referred to two issues that had been brought to previous meetings, which she would like to ask. One related to a builders advertising board at Daleswood Road and how long it could remain in situ once the development was complete and the dwellings sold. The second concerned the 'tombstones' that the developer had installed at the Manor Estate, and when these were going to be removed and the Devon bank reinstated.
