The Minutes of the Meetings of the Committee held on 11 September 2007 and 25 September 2007 were signed as a true record.

There were no matters arising.
286. DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK
a) Ref: P/A No.0784/07 - Proposed conservatory to rear of house at The Farmhouse, Tavistock Trout Farm, Tavistock. - NO OBJECTION
b) Ref: P/A No. 788/07 - Proposed single storey extension to house new freezer and storage area and demolition of an existing store at Home Farm Foods, Pitts Cleave, Tavistock.
A letter of clarification on behalf of the applicant was considered and noted - NO OBJECTION
287. ON-STREET PARKING ISSUES - WITH REFERENCE TO SITES OF NEW BUILD
There was nothing further at this time.
288. GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE
a) Consultation from W.D.B.C. ref. Naming of the development of 9 apartments on the site of 64, Plymouth Road, Tavistock.Proposed Name - Drakes Meadow. Cllr. Pike thought that there were too many 'Drakes' and 'Meadow' already in use as addresses in Tavistock and any more would cause confusion for the postal service. After discussion it was agreed to propose the naming of this development be Perry Court.
b) Ref. P/A No 10676/2007/Tav - Change of use to A4 (public house) at 8 West Street, Tavistock - Application has been withdrawn. NOTED.
c) Ref. P/A No 9880/2007/Tav - Erection of mixed use development comprising 4 retail units and 14 flats with associated parking at142-148 Plymouth Road, Tavistock - Application has been withdrawn. NOTED.
289. URGENT BUSINESS BROUGHT FORWARD AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CHAIRMAN
The Chairman reminded members of the 'Introduction to Planning' training on 15 November, from 10-4p.m. at Cardinal Newman House, Exeter.

iii) Ref. P/A No. 10916/2007/Tav - Letters of objection were tabled and considered.
iv) Ref. P/A No. 10943/2007/Tav - Cllr. Jennings declared a personal interest.
