With modern kitchen facilities and comfortable bar areas, and with our recently acquired Civil Ceremony Licence, the Town Hall makes for Tavistock’s premier wedding venue.

Friendly and experienced staff are on hand to make your special day memorable, and are more than happy to pass their experience on to you to make the organisation of your day as stress-free as possible, at no extra cost to you!

Within the hire is included all tables, either round or rectangular, and velvet burgundy backed chairs.

PA equipment is available for any announcements or background music, and the stage can be used for live entertainment such as a band and DJ.

Generally when hired for this type of function the Hall would be available to the hirer from 10am – 12 midnight, giving plenty of time for the setup and decoration, as well as for the duration of the event itself.

Packages include: –

Exclusive hire of the building including tables, chairs and use of the bar from 10am – 12 midnight.

Main Hall Civil Ceremony and Partnerships only (up to 3 hours hire)

Rundle Room Civil Ceremony and Partnerships only (up to 3 hours hire)

Use of our well-designed commercial kitchen with any caterer of your choice including use of cutlery, crockery, ovens, fridges and table linen (excluding food).
