Retiring Mayor, Councillor Steve Hipsey, was pleased to present a cheque for £1,718.13 to Jan Horrell from Tavistock Library at Tavistock Town Council’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday 19th May.
Tavistock Library was Cllr Hipsey’s chosen charity during his Mayoral year, with funds raised throughout the civic year from a range of events including the Civic Service and Civic Ball. The Council would like to thank everyone who supported the fundraising events and helped raise this fantastic amount for such a valued community facility
